A valid passport is required to enter Mexico. A current passport must not expire during your stay in Mexico.
Visas
Mexico requires a visa from certain countries. Here is a link to check if a visa is required to enter Mexico. It is also a good idea to check with a Mexican Embassy in your area if available.
